#Custom file size in publisher plus for free#
I received one or more of the products mentioned above for free using. This is still nice for the novice who wants to get started on designing paper crafts (cards, brochures, signs, flyers, etc). To be honest, I can do everything I need to do via Pages (the Mac equivalent to Word), so I will probably use that first and foremost. Overall, if you are looking for a program to get you started, this is a great one. Maybe I still need to play around with it, but I was surprised that “Save As” didn’t always create a new file (as it should), and “Export” didn’t always export the current image. I tried to save and then export as a jpeg, but it only worked about half of the time. This shouldn’t be a hard thing for the program, and it was a major let-down that I couldn’t easily do it. I would have loved if it didn’t just work with paper sizes, but also as pixels so I could easily make my images web-ready. My one qualm about it, however, is that it was really hard to change the paper size to a custom size that worked for my needs. It was also rather easy to manipulate the various boxes and images, which was nice. It’s nice to have such a large library included. to SmartPlant Foundation, use the Smart Interop Publisher Update command.
